American Landscape Lighting Designs
Headquartered in the heartland of Central Texas, American Landscape Lighting Design proudly serves Central and South Texas, as well as the Hill Country, as the only licensed electrical contractor, specializing in landscape lighting in the area. ALLD is the official lighting contractor for Los Compadres de San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the San Antonio Botanical Garden.

Many lighting contractors have no electrical training or experience, which is unsafe and could potentially harm your family and home; even result in fires and property damage. At ALLD, we are licensed by the state of Texas and so are all of our technicians, electricians and designers. All of our work is suitable for permits and inspections statewide, and we warranty our installations for two years – twice as long as any of our competitors. We stock more than 50 types of lamps, lenses, and filters; even unique fixtures and accessories not used by any other landscape lighting contractor.
Our History
Although we had such projects as the Oakview medical center and the Martin Marietta Quarry across from fiesta Texas to our credits, in the early 1980s we made the decision to leave this type of work behind and concentrate our efforts on specialty lighting.
Our resume includes work at the San Antonio museum of art, the McNay Art Institute, and the Witte museum. We have designed and installed lighting for sport’s courts, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields. We have done lighting projects in every corner of Texas, as well as Oklahoma, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada. We were chosen as the design-build lighting contractor at the Museum of Monterrey for a major renovation project to house the museum’s permanent collection. This wide variety of lighting experience is evident in our designs with unique fixtures and our accessories are not used by any other landscape lighting contractor.
